Life Cycle

Untitled

In January 2010 I was inspired by a new blog project of pairing of words and photographs/art (Vision & Verb). I followed the blog from day one and in 2011 I was honored to be invited to contribute to the project alongside the ladies who had inspired me with their thoughts.

The project is coming to an end soon (today was my last post) and I am feeling a little sad that our combined contributions will no longer be collectively visible.

My contributions to the group have been recorded on Cherry Elsewhere.

The three images in this post are my latest contributions to the Vision & Verb initiative to sell greeting cards in order to generate money to be given as loans to men and women around the world who are starting their own businesses.

We both go back to the beginning, Cherry, don’t we! And now I’m preparing to do my own separate blog of V&V posts. Once I finish the England trip I plan to just do it. Thanks for the inspiration!

Hello Cherie don’t be sad at the closing of the V&V site, look upon it as a new opening…. I remember the Mother Superior in The Sound of Music saying to the young errant Postulant Nun..(Julie Andrews) .’When the Lord closes a door, he surely opens a window’…perhaps a bit naff, but then that’s Hollywood!
If I recall correctly, she then flung open a window, which displayed a most beautiful Alpine meadow with a craggy backdrop of snow capped mountains….Aye… Pure Hollywood!
So for you, a chance to use your talents in a new project.

    Best wishes,
    Di.x

I am sad because I won’t be able to go back and re-read the inspiring posts, thoughts and comments.

Yes doors are constantly closing and opening. I wonder what will be behind the next door…

Each door brings me new friends 🙂
